What’s New
Expanded State Coverage
We’ve extended our premium planning permit data to now include South Australia and Western Australia. Users in SA and WA can now access planning permit history, heritage overlays, and detailed zoning information directly in the Mapview platform.
New Mobile App Features
The Mapview iOS and Android apps have received significant updates:
- Improved site alerts — get notified instantly when planning applications are lodged for properties you’re watching
- Offline mode — save property data and satellite imagery for offline access in the field
- Faster search — improved autocomplete and search performance, especially on mobile networks
Enhanced Planning Data
Our planning data team has worked to improve data accuracy and freshness across all regions:
- Planning permit status updates now sync within 24 hours
- Improved heritage overlay detail for Victorian properties
- New contamination site overlay for environmental assessments
