What is the difference between the App and Web Platform?
The Mapview App (iOS and Android) is designed for on-the-go property research with a mobile-first interface. In-app purchases let you buy individual property reports or credit bundles as needed. The Web Platform subscription provides full desktop access with advanced analytics tools, team features, and enhanced data capabilities — billed monthly.
Can I use my web subscription on mobile too?
Yes! Your web subscription credentials work on both the web platform and the mobile app. A web subscription gives you access to premium features across all platforms.
Do credits expire?
No, credits purchased in the app never expire. They remain in your account until used.
What payment methods do you accept?
The web platform accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via our secure payment processor. In-app purchases are handled by Apple App Store and Google Play, supporting all payment methods available on those platforms.
Can I cancel my web subscription at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your Professional or Business subscription at any time from your account settings. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Is there a free trial for the Professional plan?
Yes! New users can try the Professional plan free for 14 days. No credit card required. Your account automatically switches to the Free plan at the end of the trial if you choose not to subscribe.
What data is available for regions outside of Australia?
Worldwide coverage includes basic property browsing and aerial imagery for over 100 countries. Australian region data (planning permits, heritage overlays, title information) is available for VIC, NSW, QLD, SA, WA, NT, TAS and New Zealand.
