MapView for Business
Property answers, straight into your product.
The MapView Score, Must Knows and planning permits for any Australian address: the same answers the MapView app shows, by API. Start free, and pay as you grow.
What you get
One key, five answers.
-
MapView Score
One number for a property, from Liveability, Walkability, Crime, Noise & Disturbance and Extension Potential. Each score comes with the rows that make it.
-
Must Knows
The hazard verdict, from flood, bushfire, contamination and mineshafts to the easements on the lot. Anything that couldn’t be checked is named, never hidden.
-
Planning permits
Applications lodged around a property, nearest first, with the council’s own words for the status. Search by point, look one up, or check a council’s coverage.
-
Address search
Suggestions pinned to the national address register, so every answer is about the right lot.
-
Co-branded reports
Property and suburb PDFs with your logo and contact on every page, from the portal or your CRM.
Next: planning zones and overlays, lot boundaries, suburb profiles, map tiles and watchlist alerts.
Who it’s for
For anyone who helps people decide on a property.
-
Real estate agencies
Branded reports for buyers and listing pages that answer the first five questions.
-
Buyers’ agents and conveyancers
Must Knows and nearby permits in your due-diligence checklist, automatically.
-
Brokers and lenders
Hazard and planning checks at application, not at settlement.
-
Proptech and portals
The MapView Score and its breakdown inside your own product.

Questions
Before you start.
What is a credit?
The unit every call is priced in. Each endpoint has a fixed cost, and every response tells you what it cost and how many you’ve used this month.
Do failed calls cost anything?
No. If a call fails, for any reason, its credits go back.
What happens when the month’s credits run out?
On Free, calls stop until the 1st. Paid plans carry on, and the extra credits are billed at the end of the month at your plan’s rate.
Are these the same answers as the MapView app?
Yes. The API reads the same sources and runs the same scoring rules, and every score carries the version of the rules that produced it.
I already use co-branded reports. Does anything change?
No. Your key, the portal and your reports keep working exactly as they do. The same key now reaches the data API on the Free plan.
Is GST included?
Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST.
